Elder John Robert Lee was ordained in 1997 as an Elder of Calvary Baptist Church. He had been worshiping with Calvary from 1991. Converted in 1978, he has been preaching the gospel for 40 years on pulpits in St. Lucia, Jamaica, the USA and other places. He has written Christian columns for many years in local newspapers, has broadcasted Bible teaching programmes for many years in St. Lucia and to other countries through his radio programme “The Christian Mind.”

At Calvary and Community Baptist Churches, Elder John Robert Lee is responsible for the educational programmes of the Churches. He does not preach as much as he once did, but teaches the Adult Sunday School Class at Community Baptist Church, Riviere Mitant.

Elder John Robert Lee is well known in international literary circles as a Christian poet with several publications to his name. He is married to Veronica and his children are Davina, Esther and Kamara.
